I'm Kelsey, the creator and owner behind The Seaside Bird. I make a variety of macrame pieces to make your spaces functional and beautiful.

In 2020, I was a mom with two young kids trying to find something for just me. A two year old, a newborn, and the pandemic had me in mom mode 24/7. Macarame started as an outlet for me to breathe during that season of life.

What started as a hobby in my family room grew into a flourishing business and a growing inventory. I'm still toiling away in my family room, but it maaaaaay have taken over all the nooks and crannies of my house now, too.

Most of my business has been conducted locally at craft markets and local custom orders but now I’m ready to expand and make an easier shopping experience for you. So take a peak and shop around! Thanks for being here!
